The challenge
Wrenbridge Land proposed redeveloping a 37-acre site as a landmark gateway into Luton for circa 60,000 sq ft of headquarter, office and logistics space. The scheme required both pre-submission engagement and strategic support through to committee determination.
Our approach
DevComms provided targeted political engagement and public consultation through a community mailing and full online consultation. Strategic support continued through the determination phase with political and stakeholder engagement, culminating in comprehensive pre-committee briefing activities.
The outcome
The planning application was approved by Luton Borough Council Development Management Committee in late 2022.
