Farington Employment Land - Caddick Developments

Caddick's multi-phase employment scheme on a strategic site in South Ribble had been previously unanimously refused at planning committee, attracting significant opposition from local councillors.

DevComms undertook engagement with members across all tiers of government including the Parish Council, District Council, County Council and Parliament. The focus was on addressing the specific political concerns that had driven the unanimous refusal.

Following a programme of political and community engagement, the Planning Committee unanimously approved the significant strategic employment site.
